With our recent move, I have realized just how much stuff I have. It's no wonder that I have a hard time keeping this place clean and organized. I just unpacked three boxes just with cookbooks and recipes alone!
Now, I'm tempted to make some grand proclamation of a crazy goal for disavowing the collection of any more stuff and to reduce my current possessions by 50% or something. I know that I'll never do it though. I keep hearing that goals should be realistic (and have an attached date), so here's my goal : go through all of the loose recipe cards on the shelf as well as all of the magazines that I've saved for the recipes, not allow myself to keep any that I don't try to see if they're even good in the next couple of weeks, and put anything that's actually a keeper in my binder of awesome recipes. All to be finished by September 1.
DH is going to enjoy this I'm sure since there are a lot of cookies and yummy treats in the list of things to be made by then. Feel free to check in and see how I'm doing on my project!
